Foundation

The digging for the foundation has begun. We have been very lucky with the weather during the digging process, only had rain one night, was raining pretty heavy but it didn't fill that huge hole we have in the yard!!!
We hit a lot a ROCK, to say the least......

But the whole got dug!

BARN

SOOO Excited!!!!!  Our barn is being started...YES!!!! 3 weeks earlier then planned..Thank You Mother Nature!!!!
Well we drew the footprint of our barn today. The excavator/mason will be coming back tomorrow to start  digging  the foundation!
The Barn will be 28'x30'. here is a picture of the footprint that Johnny, myself & George laid out today. It's hard to see the pink drawing on the ground in this picture, but if you look close enough it's there. It is 30' along the driveway.

software

Well the new Ranch Manager software program came in the mail today. Hopefully at some point over the weekend we will have time to load it to the computer and try to figure it all out.. Very excited. http://www.lionedge.com/index.htm

I had ordered a "Meat Goat Management Wheel " from University Of Missouri Extension's website, and that came to day too!!!!! :)

Actually I called them to order it because the link on their site for the wheel wasn't working.

Well hope you are enjoying your weekend! :)

The snow is slowly melting but we still have a ton of it on the ground. The temps. have reached 50 degrees the last couple of days, can't wait for spring to be here in full bloom....

Just ordered a software program to manage our farm. Looking forward to getting it and be able to keep everything organized..
