Well summer is flying by, August is just about over and the nights are getting cooler and even some of the leaves  are starting to change color.
The kid goats have all settled in and are now use to their new home. They are growing nicely and are able to go into the field with the two larger goats that we gotten before them.
We are still looking for some more kid goats, preferably kiko or kiko/boer cross.
The Guinea Fowl is also getting big and as of now are still in the coop, in about three weeks we will open the door to the coop and let them free range. We will put the goats in the field where the coop is for a couple days before we open that door so they get use to them. Hoping to avoid the goats chasing the guinea fowl.

just about done....bring on the goats!!!!

Inside of the barn is all finished except for some electrical stuff-waiting on lights that were back ordered,  and the plumbing to be connected in the vet room.
Outside, painting is almost done, just needs to finish the front.  Then the trim could be put on and the hardware for the doors.  The barn sign was hung!
We do have two goats now, Jellybean & Sweetheart.....they are adjusting really good..I think :)
This Sunday we will be going to look at more goats, can't wait!!!!
We also got guinea keets, 15 of them, they are now two weeks old and are growing fast.

Chicken Coop

We place the Coop in the field then Johnny and I built a "screened-in patio" for the chicken coop..It really came out nice. Now all we have to do is get  some chickens to move in!!!

Well we are getting there...it is now June 1st and the back overhang is built, the barn is closed in (except for the doors), windows are in and the siding is going on. The electrical work has started!!!!!! We're getting there!!!!!!  We went and bought  all the Stain and Paint  this way as soon as it is ready to be done we have everything...inside will be sprayed all white and outside will be Bordeaux  (which is a  burgundy wine red color) with white trim around windows and corners of the Barn).

Today I also order a lot of supplies that we will need for our "medicine chest"
Our Pens (stalls) that we ordered should be here by the beginning of next week!!!!
